XW/XY guards are essentially the same but there are differences with headlight position (headlights are closer together on Xy's) These differences can be overcome with fiddling.

The reason that you can't sell the Ford parts is because the Fords don'

was offered an AU falcon Wagon the other day, light rollover, some panels still ok, 188,000Km,
$150.
not worth the time or hassel to wreck.

a VS commodore would have been worth double that and i would have jump

When you wreck any car first you have to live in a city where theres people to buy them not in the country. Second you have to advertise them and third you have to be patient look at all the wreckers that sit on parts for months its a time thing someone

Adam I totally agree with you. I find getting rid of commodore parts to be a lot easier than Falcon parts. Maybe it because Commodores are usually owned by younger drivers who break more things than the Average Ford owner trashes.

old ford parts are worth money ,i just paid $355.00 plus interstate delivery for a xc v8 bumper,i am sitting on 4 xw grills plus inserts plus 3 xb gt bonnets for a rainy day.i can't aford another xw gt replica, i am reduced to xc gs for v8 satisfaction..

Also try wrecking a foreign car... I wrecked a BMW a couple of years back the cluster went to Tassie, the doors/guards/bonnet went to Dubbo, the Starter motor went to Adelaide, the radio and tool box went to Perth, the brake boosters and m/c went to Thail
