Hi all, Im new to this forum and own a 1976 HX Monaro. Would someone be so kind as to transcribe these codes for me please. I tried going through Holden but they told me in a letter that their records for the HX models were incomplete so they could not assist. They are as follows:

Its an Adelaide body GTS 5.0L Sedan.
Paint is Mint Julep with Chamois Trim? This code, 60#, for Chamois trim was used on Toranas not sure about full size.

who knows the download link for the program the can decode these numbers and tell you what they mean, i have it on my PC at home but forgotten the download link to the program.

Hey Trent, I have a 7-76 HX Monaro Brisbane built car. Can you tell me the date casting on your engine as mine is May 76 and I was told the engine in mine is too early to be original to the car. Your Adelaide built car has engine number QT757811 and my Br

A May 76 engine a July 76 car sounds absolutely fine.
With the help of a member on here I was able to confirm the engine in a HQ SS I just sold was original and it was dated almost 4 months before the body. It was a 10May72 engine in a 8/72 car.
