I use to have a HQ350 GTS 4 door which I sadly sold for $6300 8 yrs ago. I have since been told that only 50 were made with the Muncie 4 speed gearbox. I also heard a hand full of HZ GTS350/4 were made to get rid of the last 350/muncie lying around. Dont

Our HQ GTS 350 4 door is on eBay at the moment. 5 years ago we couldn't sell it for $7000, now...

The HZ 350 thing has to be wrong as the HQ 350 engine does not comply with ADR27a, would have had to be highly modified to get rid of a handful of engines. But never let the truth stand in the way of a good story.

No. If they were ever made they would be known of. The build records exist and they would show up in those. The 58 x XW8 manual cars I was talking about are the 4-door 350 Muncie HQ sedans (otherwise known as GTS/4 350).

When I had mine I joined the Sydney Monaro club. They use to bag me because I had a 4 Door, They called it the "taxi Cab Monaro". They now sell for heaps if you can find them. They have a huge box welded on the passanger side hump. This was to fit the Mun

I was lucky, I picked up my HQ XW8 manual about 5 years ago for $5000, and I remember seeing another around then going for about the same price. So if I was smart enough I could have had two.
Anyway I had always heard that there were 53 manuals built n

Sorry about the mistype. It's actually 54 XW8 manual. 9 Acacia, 19 Pagewood, 16 Dandenong and 10 Elizabeth. These are counted off the original Holden records.
The 58 was misread off the 158 auto column.
