my diff housing has two round lugs either side of the centre. im running duel exhuasts and have an lpg tank so i'm limited for space. at the moment my exhaust hits slightly on these lugs when the suspension is bottomed, and also my brake hose is suspect of being pinched aswell.

can i cut these round lugs off to give me more space or will that weaken my diff housing.
cheers craig

sorry about the spelling, i didnt get much sleep last night.

These are for the upper control arm mounts in sedan/wagon. They arent used in utes/vans/tonners. I saw a VK 10-bolt on the weekend and they are not even there on the VK diff (not sure about VB-VH), so I assume that means they are not needed for strength.
