hey guys i have a bloke at work who has an LSD salisbury for sale out of a 6 cylinder hq tonner i am not sure if it came out with a six but thats what is in it now, anyway what i needed to know is there a difference between a v8 and a 6 cylinder salisbury, i have been told that being a six it would be a small or "banjo" diff but from what i have seen all banjos have the removable center while the salisburys have the ten bolt back plate on them which this diff has.
Thanks Blade

All HQ-WB 1-tonner got the salisbury diff. The only differences between a tonner salisbury and a normal V8 one is the tonner has much stronger axles, bigger axle bearing collars and the yoke is machined to take a bigger uni (1.125" - same uni as a 350 HQ

Byron is correct about the uni. I got a diff for my HQ out of a 350chev statesman and the uni was the same as the one tonner. Only found that out after the drive shaft wouldnt fit.

As a result I also needed bigger UNIVERSAL bolts to hold the drive shaf
If its not broke it will be soon
