Hey guys just got a Q on the benerfit of shift kits in autos and what advantage/disadvantage's they have any reply would be helpful, cheers.

benefit = shift in 1/30th of a sec in some cases
= cheap to get done up to STG 2 at time of rebuild
= get shift spec (stg 2 , 3, 4 etc matched to cam / stall etc.)

Disadv = Hard on Uni's
- probably not worth it unless u r
Old holdens brought on the spot, quick decision, cash paid.

only good for street racing if your into that, hard on the drive line.
I have a shift kit on a t400 stage 1 or 2 cant remember anymore, in drive under normal pedal is fine ,boot it of the lights and it will hold back and get wheel chirp going into the 2n

Thanks guys, My main concern was as you have said hard on the drive line etc, i guess it also depends on how you drive it and im not into draging or trying to go fast quickly so me puting a shift kit in my auto would realy just be spending money on someth
