Any industry professional out there who know about Ford differentials, what Ford differential with disc brakes would be suitable for for a vehicle that produces 185 horsepower.

Mate, I'm sure there are plenty of old falcon 6 bangers out there running a 9" with no dramas as well as old f series etc. Go the 9" to start with rather than messing around with other diffs then having to swap them out later.

All EB's had the 28 spline 4 pinion BW diff whereas earlier Borg Warner diffs were GENERALLY only 25 spline in a |

The differential is going in a 1938 Dodge chassis. Are you located in Queensland and how much are you wanting for the differential , if its a fair price I could always remove the brackets and have the leaf spring mounts attached.

Mr Hot Rod, "Fred" on these forums has a 1930's Plymouth that he has just fitted an EB rear end to and is thinking of changing to something different. Another thing worth looking into is a Valiant rear end. The reason I say this is I have an old copy of American Street Rodder that features someone modifying an early 1930s Plymouth coupe using a 340 Plymouth Duster as a donor car. I think the Duster is

No Brian, They don't have the original spring setup, they are using Toyota springs and Hilux mounts. We are both now thinking of using the Ford 9 inch that way we can increase the engine size latter. We'd like to thank everyone to date and now consider
