Hi, there is one of these up for auction with Shannons. Info states that it is an early build so does not state the engine onthe ID plate. Does anyone know how many of these were made?

Bugger all. From memory about 212. Will amend if wrong when Im at home. The only way to tell if its a genuine 350 in the early examples is to contact the Monaro Register. Greg (ClassicOzWreck) has a silver very early example with a delete vinyl roof.

Would be interested in opinions if the Shannons LS is a real deal 350 - they said it was verified by warranty papers. It states that it is but then the there is the usual disclaimer.

It's always up to the buyer to check as they have the most to lose. I personally think that $30k is BS. People are paying $25k for Holden V8 HQ's and over $30k for 308 4-door GTS's, so even if it was a normal V8 LS with a 350 fitted $30k is still in the b
