Decided my XY Van shell has to go. It's been hogging shed space for the last five years and i've still not touched it apart from ratting bits for other projects. Wish to get it on the market ASAP but i'm having difficulty with figuring out what she's worth. She's got some bog around the bumperette area, There's about one foot of a sill thats had a holden sill piece welded in then bogged (can't recall which side, Doh). The left quarter is a little rippled and smoothed with bog and had a piece of rust cut out with a plate welded in at the bottom of the left door hinge post.It's been bare metalled before a coat of primer to protect it. Overall it's a bloody good body. I'd be struggling to afford a donor car nowadays with the prices for XY's going up as they have so it's time it got out of the shed and into the hands of someone keen and capable. What kind of money should i put on her ? Also happy to listen to any offers. Van is in Western Victoria. Some pics in below link. $500 may be a bit stingy but I doubt its worth much more.
$1000 would be top dollar IMO. |
