Option BO6 is known as an ambulance pack. Available on HJ-HZ vans and 1-tonners. Not available on WB. Anything's possible but I doubt GMH would have put a Stateman front on a tonner. A dealer may have though.

statesman. or is it holden statesman. does holden refer to it as statesman only? and why. i remember some debate on this issue. i think the statesman owner manual does not refer to it being a holden statesman. just a statesman?

Yes, that is correct. All Statesmans (or is that Statesmen) from HQ to WB did not wear Holden badges. VQ (1990) onwards Statesman & Caprice, were badged Holdens.

They were marketed as Statesman by GM.

My HJ Naro also has no "Holden" badging. (Although with the number of owners, and replacement nosecone, may not be true from factory). GTS on grille, flanks, dash pad above glovebox, Steering wheel boss and boot spoiler. Monaro on front guards.

Yes Statesman was not a Holden, which was the name of the car, and was marketed as a Chevrolet/GM vehicle.

The parts book has Holden and Statesman parts book on the cover, Statesman ads state to see your GM dealer, not Holden dealer etc. The hub caps d

The WB Series I Caprices (and maybe De Villes) have a small square red holden badge two-way taped to the upper centre of the grille surround. Also the series II Deville had the wing style front badge that had the lion too. They are the only HQ-WB Statesma

I was only joking around with the fact that GM-H was very specific that the Statesman was not a Holden (remember in those days the name of the car was Holden and the name of the company was GM-H. Ie a HQ Holden Kingswood and LJ Torana S. Model, vehicle an

Its not about royalties it all the same company.

General Motors is huge, they OWN Chevrolet, Pontiac, Saginaw, Rochester, frigidair, Fischer etc. Holden motor body builders amalgamated with them to make General Motors-Holden. Holden, as a company, has

The HJ GTS is a good one, I dont thin
