Dr Terry i am aussie. just have a looksee at moby302.co.za. what is the go with lexcen VR commodore, toyota holdens ect? I remember my dad referred to a friend of his in the 70s. as owning franchies in a particular brand of cars. and got $ on every one

Absinth I think you are missing the point of what Warren was saying in that Holden were trying to project an image of something "special" with the statesman, Holdens were seen as the family car while the statesman was trying to do a Cadillac something to |

What is interesting about HK-HQ Monaro "luxury levels" is that (ignoring the fact that HK doesn't distinguish 6cyl from V8) Monaro is actually, by model code, a 2 door Kingswood. If you starting researching these from scratch by ID plates that is the conc |

did the base model 337 HK come with a rubber floor mat instead of carpet ala belmont
also was a belmont sedan ever optioned with 307 column powerglide?

307 was available across the range in HK in powerglide only, in column or T-bar until Monaro. Then you could get a 307 Saginaw in any of the range also. Whether a 307 Belmont sedan was ever made - probably. I've certainly seen plenty of 307 Kingswoods in |

One of my workmates had a 307 column shift auto Belmont.
