the alternator light wont go completely out it seemed to be effected by the reversing switch on the column , its a hq column change auto but just changed the switch and it hasnt helped i have changed the alternator before and the voltage regulator and the belts tight its a 6 by the way any ideas ? cheers

thanks quarthorse but i just changed the voltage regulator again and its seems to have made a difference cheers
