As posted recently I had an airbag light alluminating in my VT. The solution is as follows:
Never put your street directory down beside your seat; because it dislodges the power lead beside your seat which is in the seatbelt pre-tensioner circuit. The green head on this lead sticks out like dogs balls, when you know what you are lookin for. But believe me, I will now be putting up with a street directory sliding out from under my seat when I slam on the brakes.

Hey sounded good to me, just checked my vx as ive had the light and beeper coming back on after starting but to no avail.120 000km and starting to do a few repairs as things wear out...
