what's a fair price to pay for a neat coupe like that anyway?

also...i don't know much about body work and paint, but if the car has been stripped to metal, repaired properly and painted, why would rust bubbles surface within a few years?? is this sus

Not really sus at all mate. It's actually quite common to have a bit of rust break out
after a rebuild. Especially with coupes. That's one of the reasons why most panel beaters
won't give a warranty for rust returning in some areas after a rebuild/r

To the exbman,
I stripped the coupe for respray about 3 years ago, stripped to a shell with running gear, did not say bare metal respray, just stripped of everything, door trims and linings, front guards, back window, all interior excluding dash,to allow

Hi Max, I too am just embarking on the same style of restoration as yourself. It sounds like a mirror image of how I have prepared my coupe. It goes in for 2 months and will hopefully come out like new! Can't wait.

Yes its a huge job but if you take your time when dismantling the car and don't break anything it makes it easier and helps to retain the authenticity of the piece. When we stripped the coupe I bagged and labelled every item, every nut bolt an
