I own an April 1974 XB Fairmont Coupe, 351c, T Bar C4, registered NSW, original motor, (matching numbers), have owned for almost seven years now, 650 holley new gen carb, stage 3 cam, 2200 stall converter, (this work has all been done by myself and my son in law)still have all original parts from car also right down to the stainless wheel covers, dual fuel (done in April 07) polar white, absulutely beautiful car, has been used for wedding car on several occasions, car has 265s at the rear & 245s on front, GS bonnet to get a bit of cool air in, GT front spoiler and all original chrome and stainless strips which are in perfect condition. 71,000 miles on clock and from what I know about my coupe I have nothing which would make me think that it has been around the clock already. I had the coupe stripped and resprayed (original colur) about 3 years ago, it had come from Canberra and was in seriously good condition. I took off the black vinyl roof but put all the original strips and trims back on after the respray. This is one nice looking 2 door and the only xb fairmont that I have seen in my area the entire time I have owned the car. With grand kids to cart around now my needs have changed slightly and I am wondering if anyone has a realistic idea of what it may be worth.

Thanks Paul

The car has about five or six small rust blisters just starting to appear under the paint and a strip of rust in the boot rubber seal trench that is about two inches long, the rest is spotless. The coupe only had a little section under the

Sorry to be so old, but how do I post a picture of my coupe so that you can all see just what it is that I am talking about selling. The coupe is real nice and I do want a good price for it, please reserve your judgement until you see the photos.

Max,
you'll get the money you want for the car, I'm pretty certain of that. The only thing though if you do go and sell the car what's going to take its place and fill your spare time up with? I've gone to sell my coupe a couple of times over the year

I hope I did it right, I checked it so many times along the way. It said that it may take either a few or several hours to appear. I'm watching very nervously at the moment. Did you see the XW GT Replica. It got smashed in such a short time and finished w

That's ok, an XY GT replica sold for 60K recently. Have you set a reserve with your coupe? Also put plenty of photos in the ad. Every side of the car, engine bay and boot area, interior including all seats, dash and door trims. Show the punters every

Max,
if I were you I'd listen to Grimo. That's such a sweet looking ride. If however you are intent to go ahead with this foolhardy plan you best get out your digital camera and snap some photos of the car and keep the date thingy set so people can kno
