Electric fans what size to buy for hq v8??

Ive decided to go electric fans but not sure what size I need. I have a standard hq 3 core v8 radiator. Ive heard 2 fans are best one when driving once its warm and running 2 of them while idling. Also will I need some sort of shroud or can I just mount them on the inside of the radiator some how Or can I just leave my nomal fan there and put an electric one on between the radiator and grill with it blowing through? forgot to mention its a chev 350 engine cheers. I removed the fan and used the VT commodore twin fan set up ...
Works excellent
One of my mates uses twin AU fans behind and a single in front..

I really dont have much experience with the performance engines and their cooling requirements, as I am running pretty much stock 202s in my holdens. They dont get so warm. However... from what Ive read here over the years...

I just ran a couple of 10" electrics (fitted nicely between the wires) which were attached to the radiator itself. Seemed to do the job okay (as discussed on other threads). The fans themselves were well under $100 for the pair from supercheap. the big |

i have twin thermos (bought from american autos/rare spares sydney) on my 350 chev in the HQ. and $700 is just ridiculous....try giving them a call...

I had a brand new 4-row in a HJ ute with a near stock 350 which was in excellent condition. It had an alloy inlet and HEI but was pretty much standard 010 with 882 heads etc etc. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the engine, and it cooled perfectly |

Cheers. I just went to our holden dealer and they sold me a shroud for my radiator cost me 90$
I asked for discount as it was 104 and they gave me it :).
Ill try fit it tonight, hopefully it will be straight forward. Prob need to buy some bolts tomorr |
