I took my thermostat housing off, least im sure thats where it goes.

None in there do you think I should run one or not??
HQ 350 Th400 with 3 core radiator flex fan with shroud :)

Hi Keith.

This probably why your engine temp reads so low, because it is low.

Its not good for a motor to ever run without a thermostat, put a new one in, theyre not that expensive.

Yep that's where it goes. Any if you don't run one you'll have overheating problems and a worn out engine in a year.

people seem to think it will fix there over heating problems by taking the mout but it doesnt, in fact it can make it worse as the water wil move too fast so the enigne cant wash off the heat, wack one back in it, I also take the little nippel out and dri

This may sound like a silly question but which way up do I put the thermostat or doesnt it matter?

All back together. Just have to run the car tomorrow, let it warm up check for leaks and see how my gauge goes.
