Hi all.
Ive just had the radiator support off the body of my HZ and now that ive put it back on, the 4 blade fan is hitting the inside top of the fan shroud. Like really wedged against it. The shroud/radiator seems lower.... Im thinking maybe ive stuffed something up and all i can think of is ive missed out on one of the rubbers. I have one in between the chassis and support and one above.. is that right or should there be another one? can someone let me know how it should be setup? Cheers!

Hainzy that sounds right, although you should have two big washer/spacers as well one on top of the chassis and one between the top rubber and the bolt head. Which will give you an extra 1/4". Hope this helps

cheers leroy. Ill have a look tomorrow. I think I may have one of the washes on the underneath of the chassis. I might have to put another rubber in if I cant raise it enough as i have a few laying around.

Should there maybe be 2 rubbers in between the chassis and rad support? That would lift it higher. Wish id paid more attention when i took it off.....

in our radiator support kits, there are 4 rubbers, 2 upper and 2 lower to see a picture of them, click on the rarespares link below me, and the part # for quick search is RSMK1.

Only one rubber between the chassis and rad support, had a look at the parts catalogue which shows a proper shim (every car Ive wrecked never had one) rather than a round washer, the second washer goes in the chassis rail with the nut.

Hainzy. I have posted a pic Here http://gallery.oldholden...+support+mount.jpg.html of what the spacer and mount setup looks like. If you do not have the spacer (which comes in two thicknesses). Just look through the rest of your spare
