Hi, Does anyone know if an older HK style double diaphram booster will bolt up to an HQ firewall? I'm after a bit more clearance and i notice the older 1's have a smaller dia but are about same length. Also the white HQ in latest Street Machine has 1 fitted but doesnt mention any dramas whith it. I'm under the impression both master cyl are 15/16". Any info would be great as iv recieved no help from local "Brake Experts"

They'll fit but you'd probably have to rebuild it using a HQ pushrod at the rear. Also look at V8 LH/LX or also WB disc brake (using drum brake master cylinder). The WB one will bolt in using a WB brake pedal, but you'd also have to use WB brake lines.

What's the general consensus on brake boosters? My HQ belmont ute doesn't have one. I still have heaps of braking, and it's only running a stock 202 and 3 speed, so I don't flog it along.

I've considered putting one on (are they a bolt-on item if you
