As far as I am aware only topics that are derogatory, inflammatory or spam are deleted from this website.

If you feel as though something was deleted that shouldn’t have been, let me know via [email protected]

I think another section for general or non car related stuff would be good as it is always good to get to know other forum users and read there thoughts on things not relating to cars and it would keep the car related section clean.

hey leith,
its me,,,,un bear levable!!! it would be tricky to actually monitor it, having a separate area? but it is probably the best way to go?
eg.. post in there about ""fog lights??", not really about fixing of cars? more about irritating things h

I think a "Lounge" or "Pub" section for off or loosely on-topic stuff can go is a good idea - then remname the current forum to technical discussion.

Perhaps the "Pub" off-topic section could be a shared area for both Ford & Holden guys - providing tho

The "lounge" or "pub" or " rants" forum idea can be worthwhile/humorous/informative, but again, that doesnt give people license to write derogatory, inflammatory or libelous comments and it would still need to be moderated closely. Give it a trial period

Maybe split this into 3. Technical for the "how-to" types stuff. Automotive for the discussions around model info and automotive opinion and -as suggested- a cross-maker "Lounge" for general discussions.

No offence taken "Rare" Bear picking my post is quite valid as an example and I have enjoyed your sence of humor through out the "election" section. I found in general disucssion on the election it reveiled a lot about our personalitys but still remained
