just wondering if somebody could please help me confirm if my lc gtr torana i've hade for 14 years is genuine.
rang holden they said there archives dont go back to lc days.
number on radiator supp drivers side 82911c j247997
no. on othe side of support is body id lc 82911 body no.2220-a trim 1803-48u paint 567-12185 is this paint colour brown?
any help would be grateful as finishing it for my son.

Yes the numbers say its a GTR.

1803 is Burnished Bronze Metallic. Not sure what trim 48U is though. 48 is Sandalwood but I only have reference to D, F, P, Q, V, W, X and Y.

just wondering if there was a book that could
show me all the pics so I could get it back to original
condition inside and out? did the lc gtr seats have head rests? any help appreciated. thanks

Hi auslc.

Your best bet is to purchase an original sales brochure, parts manual & workshop manual. Those will give you the best info. Take photos of lots of original cars. Join a club & get to know some like-minded Torana 'nuts'.

There is a book sold on ebay called something like 'How to do up your Torana'. Costs about $50. It sounds like it would have heaps of useful info. Type in 'LC Torana' to look.

As Dr Terry said, no headrests on LC seats. However, I believe
