you need to borrow a key because the ignition needs to be in the on postion
then you need to poke at the raised bit of the coffee pot where the ignition
sits in to break away a small retangle where a screw driver can go to push

Most times an old worn holden key ( HQ> even upto VK ) will do the job, but if funds are short hot wire it and put in a couple of switches one toggle for the ignition ON and a push button for the Start but this is not very secure and still no key for t

Hi Pittin,

All the ignition barrel does is pull on a rod that goes down the steering column. If you take enough of the stuff out from behind the steering wheel inside the column, you could probably disconnect the little rack and rod from the ignition

There is a little flat piece of steel that has to be pushed with a screw driver..
You dont have to remove the rod that go to the ignition Switch on the column.
Borrow your mates key and get it cut.

When i took the indicator and all that **** off i could see like a rod with teeth on it and a bit of steel on the top of that with like a lip on it, is that what you are talking about?
