My HT GTS has a 001 350 block with Dh fuelly heads and mild cam. I have two edelbrock manifolds (performer and torker). What manifold (peoples experience) would be the better choice? The car is mainly street driven and i would prefer torque rather than high revs. I was told that the performer would be a better choice. I also have a choice of Rochester or Holley 650(spreadbore with auto choke).

performer would be better matched to those heads than torqer.

Edelbrock produced ome data, showing torquer better under approx 3000 rpm, and performer better over 3000 rpm.
but they were very close all the way.

go for the rochester, althou 650 spea

Adam I think you mean the performer is better under 3 and the torker better over 3. A performer is a similar configuration to the original manifold ie. dual plane small ports high airspeed =better torque spread. Also I would keep the rotty.

Thanks. I was more leaning towards the performer, which is good to 5500-6000 revs and also the rochester. The performer is dual plane and spreadbore. I was also told that is gives better economy and smoother idle.

I agree.

The Torker is the choice for strip or if you decided to go LPG only.
