Ok ,xr8 2004 ute. Overheats ford put new overflow bottle in but a few weeks latter its gone again. Tured car off and it droped its guts spread water out of cap .Anyone ?Thanks chris...

could be a blocked radiator, dud cap or locked shut thermostat (I've had that one before after snapping a fan belt).

YEAH JAMMED SHUT THERMOSTAT ESPECIALLY IF YOU'VE RAN STRAIGHT WATER FOR A WHILE , DON'T FORGET TO REPLACE THAT PAIN IN THE REAR HEATER HOSE THAT RUNS UNDER THE INTAKE AND YOU MIGHT HAVE ALSO DONE A GASKET BUT IF WATER NOT APPARENT IN OIL THAN IT'S PROBLY |
