Hello im looking at buying a 1994 ford faillane for the wife everthing works fine and it looks in good condition its a 5 litre 4speed auto. it has 300,000 kms on the clock is there anything about these car like censors on engine or tranny that were a proplem im a holden man the only other ford i have owned was a grand marquis in canada so i have no idea about the fairlanes.

The V8's give very little trouble. At 300,000 I would worry about the transmission if it's original.

The climate control can give a bit of grief due to sensors & vacuum solenoids failing.
The electric window switch pack can also cause problems
