Hi Guys,

Have a 2004 RA Dual Cab Rodeo 3.0L Turbo Diesel. Everything is stock except that a couple of weeks ago had a new exhaust put on. 3 inch directly from turbo out to a 2 1/2 inch pipe.

Ever since, everytime I go on the highway and nudge 110 km/h, the engine light will come on every 10 mins or so and the car won't accelerate. It will maintain the speed it's on. After a minute or so, the light goes off and everything goes back to normal until it comes on again.

I only ever have the problem on the highway, never around town( I suppose I never get to reach that speed around town).

Haven't taken it to a dealer as yet but just wondering if anybody has had a similar problem or would know what it might be.

Have you checked that no wiring connectors came off when the exhaust was being fitted. Have had trouble with a few on my RA. After a number of trips to holdens to check on the engine light i got myself a code reader and since then no more warning light

Hi Guys,

I think I have solved the problem. Have looked around the exhaust for a sensor but couldn't seem to find one. Have since tightened all the hose clips, just to make sure, and have reset the computer. Seems to have fixed the problem. Thanks
