Hi again all,

I'm getting a WB Statesman rear bar and just want to ask if it will easily mount to my HJ Van. The van currently has a HZ full rear bar(from a wgn). Can I use the existing irons from the current bar or have to use irons from the WB bar-if so any further drilling etc. I haven't got the bar yet for comparison.

Cheers Phil.G

Hey Oz

The rubbers you refer to, are they the strips that are on the bar or should there be rubbers with the brackets

Hi Phil,

The irons/brackets from the rear bar that is on your van at the moment will fit on to the WB Statesman rear bar. The mounting holes on both bars for the brackets are in the same spot. Ive heard people mention before that the tailgate hinges do

Thanx for that clarification Oz.
The wgn bar on it, though, has no extra cuts as you mentioned. I may be lucky with the brackets as they may have modified to avoid. At the moment, the current bar is all alighned properly and clears the hinges OK.
