holden built 1 as far as i know. it was orange with colour coded bumpers and SL/E wheels and them big ugly mirrors that are also on the Geminis and a GTS dash.it wasnt very pretty at all.

Yep, Holden made 1 prototype WB Sandman, Ive got a scan of it if anyone is interested. Its the yellow/orange colour as Mikey has said. Someone may know where this one is now?
All the WB service/parts manuals make mention of the "Sandman" with engine/ge

There always seems to be few on there but they still dont seem to be getting the price people suggest theyre worth. That one only sold for $4750 but admittedly it had a lot of work to do getting it back to original. I suppose the more original they are th

Its supriesing because they were a huge part of the aussie culture thrugh the 70s n 80s ,, but i recon they will have to jump in value soon .. And it would make it even better if theese people stopped advertiseing SANDMANS when they arnt the real deal

Wait till an immaculate one hits Shannons one day. I think you'll find the HQ Sandman may end up being worth more than a GTS XV4, HQ SS, and maybe rivalling a HQ 253 GTS coupe.
