I'm not collecting HQ's! That is how I value them (I've got enough HK-HG's actually collected to do me 2 lifetimes). But I have HQ ID plates collected off plenty of those listed. All pulled from cars either I wrecked or friends have wrecked.

Im not collecting HQs! That is how I value them (Ive got enough HK-HGs actually collected to do me 2 lifetimes). But I have HQ ID plates collected off plenty of those listed. All pulled from cars either I wrecked or friends have wrecked.

I must admit I didnt know keeping the tags is illegal, I keep them simply to screw to the wall as decoration and to keep count of the number of cars I have sent to their grave, same as the number plate. Anyone know what the penalty is if ya get busted?

To my knowledge, the legalities only involve the Compliance plate, not the Body or VIN plates. Problem is, the average copper wouldnt know the differences.

What laws are they, State or Federal & who enforces them does anybody know ?
