BATHURST 1974 is what did it for me.I was 10years old and my father and grandfather took me up to bathurst to watch the race.It poured down rain and Gossy and BIGREVKEV bought it home to win,I've loved XA hardtops ever since.

Cool guys and thanks for your imput ,, my experience with the t400 couldnt break it if i tryed Had a VH stroker 355 putting 325kw too the wheels Tricked up with a small stall 3500 lol and i drove it like i stole it ,, never a drama .... the GTs great car

A mate of mine broke 3 T400 rear houseings in 1 year? in a HZ p van. had a 9 in diff. a 3500 stall.
it had a 308 that was worked to much for the street, or petrol from the station pump.
it did bigends head gaskets ect ect. but it did go well. was on

Hey HQ, I feel the same way as yourself I grew up with fords and have owned plenty.I have no issues with them,I just feel they lost their way in 82 when they ditched the V8.Thats just my opinion and am looking forward to the release of the new model.I cur
