Ford have got to get their cars sold overseas. I saw somewhere last year someone was trying to get XR Turbos (Typhoons?)to the UK. Anyone know what happened ?

The way i see it Austrailians have to take resposability for there own country because the govonment are to piss weak to do.
Holden used to make V8s i6s autos 4 speeds and diffs
ford used to make V8s i6s and use aussie made g/boxs diffs

All new cars are JUNK but otherwise, i'll never take the choice between the big three (Holden, Ford and Valiant for our younger member's benefit).
Having said that, I've made a concious decision to rid myself of all Ford (and Val') bits to concentrate on
Fossil fuels are YUMMY !

Good question. I'm neither a Holden or a Ford fan. I however think that Holden have the edge over Ford in terms of the current designs despite the controversy that it looks like a BA. A neat sensible looking family car fit for Aussie conditions.

I'm a 1976 Toyota Crown enthusiast but also love some Fords and some Holdens and am currently building a Hot Rod that uses both Holden and Ford parts.

HK1837 true you are right. about the VN & VP v6 the one's i have driven were shocking. i like the EB and i say the XR6 is not as fast as the XR8. the wheels test only went to 400M. and the V8 Windsor need a more km to run in.
but i still think HJ-X-Z ha
