Hello all i have a bit of rust on both sides of my monaro on the gutters, it not rusty on the roof just the flat peice that the trim covers has pulled of in sections. Is there repro guuters i can buy or should i just cut pieces of a sedan. Has anyone here repaired this before looks like a real pain in the arse.

Owning old cars for ever ive fixed a lot of rust but never from a gutter yet. Judging by the shape thickness etc id prob get a 0.9mm cutting disc for your grinder. These cut so fast with little dust or sparks. And cut the gutter off a doner car. Dont wrea |

Yeah i was thinking the same sorta thing and try and get it as perfect as i can. I guess the trim will cover minor imperfections. |

yeah you have tried that with me already vintageholden i actualy did pretty good its a hg 186s gts 4speed i bought it with no engine and a HK interior which is pretty ordinary, no steering wheel or dash but very minor rust none in floors or doors just gu |

there are about 4 people who know its there you would never find it if you ever looked, i have thought about a car trailer but im sure i get busted. |
