My 18 yr old daughter can not stand the rice burners (AKA DooFF DooFF cars)at all, she is 100% Holden, the problem she faces is being a "P" Plater she is limited to what she can drive and afford. Any Holden she could afford to run is a rebadaged rice burn

My 16 year old daughter has already claimed my HJ ute for when she gets a full licence in 2013. She loves the character that the older cars have.

I guess if you bought anything like a SS or better and stored it for years it may be worth something down the track, but I do not think they will be a car you could restore because of all the expensive electrical and plastic components etc on board, as Wa

The quality of cars today seems to be not as good as the good old days.

Take the grey motor, they actually advertised that you culd get a hole 60,000 miles before it needed a rebuild (imagine what the opposition was good for, maybe 40,000 miles). Could

Judging by the VE cheap interior plastic, and rubber coated dash and top of doors. you think they will be around.
Maybe MR crudd and the kyoto (hot potato). will kill them off.
