hiya all
i have several different sets of front calipers, and would like to know if there is 1 type i should use over the others. assuming they freely interchange
there is girlock, pbr, holden brand
iron and aluminium
different pads etc
all are in good nick, just want the best for my old girl
also any info on discs also appreciated

i pretty much sell every set i get in of hx hz girlock alloy if thats any indication? |

Just make sure they have steel slides.
Some of the alloy calipers are crap.
I have taken a few sets to get rebuilt and the Brake Specialists recommend ALL STEEL Calipers. I was a bit surprised as i thought that alloy would have been a lot better and

The ones Adam is referring to are all cast iron PBR. HJ are also all iron, but are Girlock. I like the HZ alloy/iron Girlock aka A9X.
