R316011 the bloke on ebay recons his is a real sand man ,,, that could be of interest too you since there was apparently 1 WB made

if its from a wb the engine number is missing the w in front...

Assuming it's WR316011, WR would make it a blue 253, and the number sequence is from the later half of 1982

I still dont believe there was ever a WB Sandman made. Sales had dwindles such that Holden dropped the ute in early 1979 and the van was gone before the end of HZ. Holden may have built a prototype during WA and WB development (mid 70s) but it is unlikely
