Topr gear is coming to aus,,and they are looking for people on SBS, to put the aussie car story,
so I think we need a Byron, or the Doc, to go on the show??
Anyone else can too, if you have good cars, and knowledge on aus cars and their history!!
All you have to do is get in touch with SBS.

i suggest warren as well, but judging by the pommy version, they dont need many brains to run the show.


If nissan motorsport is nismo, then doesnt that make honda motorsport Homo?

the host is a tosser, I saw the show when he had the monaro on it, he said " not a bad effort for a bunch of convicts" since then I have not watched it anymore, cant stand people like him.

Well I recorded it last week and watched it the other night.

For the first episode of Top Gear Australia they only featured one Australian built car and they destroyed it by dunking it in salt water.

As a fan of the original show, i only lasted for one and a bit episodes of the Aussie copy-cat embarrasment. I only got 15 minutes into the second show and flicked the channel..Im done with that crap.
Just a shame i cant get to see the original Topgear a

I have to admit I LOVE the Brit humour and the original show. The UK camera work is fab, as are the commentaries. Typically dry, sophisticated, with a hint of passion for nice cars, and occasional bad taste with pommy transport. Their factual work is good

Actually I found the second episode a lot funnier and more entertaining than the first.

I do wonder what they are thinking with their what were they thinking section. Bagging the Charger and the Force7.

I do sincerely hope they were way off the mark when they announced that Ford were planning to convert the Falcon to FWD. This would spell the end for the Falcon and the Commodore as we know them.

As a fan of topgear UK my first reaction to aussie TG was of complete and utter humiliation(I felt embarressed for them)they cant be serious.
What sort of idiots do they take us for,they obviously think the people that watch TG UK are a bunch of morons.T

If you have watched 5th Gear as well as Top Gear I think that youll find that its not that our TG is bad, its just that the UK TG is far superior to any motoring show seen on TV, despite this accolade for the series, I thought that the US cross country sp

Yes the FWD Ford....I wonder how SUPERCARS will be run with FWDs ? Could almost see, Mitsub and Toyotas muscling in !! LOL...FWD - blah ! Go Biante series after that..maybe with the October long weekend for real cars at Bathurst.
