I have a decal that reads the following:

CAUTION
the cylinder head must be retensioned
after initial warm-up
back off each bolt before retensioning
re-adjust valve clearances
to manufacturers specification

(All in capitols)

Does anyone know exactly where this goes (on the Rocker Cover??) and whether it is for a 6 cylinder or an 8 cylinder?

Thanks in advance.

Has it got holden or GM written on it?

if not, put it anywhere you like..

A1 Bogan.
Old holdens brought on the spot, quick decision, cash paid.

The decals are now available from Rare Spares(RCD1010).they go on the side of the rocker cover RH side about the middle. They may have been added after the vehicles were built.I can email a picture if you advise your address.

Are you sure this is a GM-H sticker, otherwise why have "manufacturers specification???? I though only Holden produced Holden engines.

Also after enitial warmup happens on the production line, they are driven off the line.

Only 4 cylinder have valve
