There's a big difference in the price of this one - and multiple other's I have seen. I am looking for something at this point that is under $1,000 - which there appear to be many of on eBay - they are just mostly too far away for me to be able to conside

That's strange, I can't seem to find any non rusty running XC sedans with spare 351, 9", GS bonnets, mags etc for less than $1000 on Ebay. Are we looking at the same Ebay ?
Please, tell me where these mythical cars are so I can buy one !

Then quit whining and bitching about how expensive cars equipped with that stuff are and how some guy somewhere with a rusty POS 6 cylinder car is soooo much cheaper. The inference there is that someone is trying to rip you off or something.

Aint an X series without a spot of factory rust :) But for all the XA to XC faults nothing beats the looks though I'm pretty biased.

Oh, sorry...car and stuff has been sold
New owner was VERY happy with the rust (or lack thereof !).
Good result all round.
