cost me 140 and it lasts for 2 months but the good thing about QLD is you only have to get another RWC if you sell the vehicle. i think in NSW you need it done yearly even if its registerd in your name? tell me if im wrong

here its every 6months you need a new one. You cant register the car without one. If you sell the car it has to have one that is not more than 1month old but people get round that by saying as is where is.

In NSW a roadworthy (pink slip) is just under $30, and has to be done annually, and passed, before you can renew the registration.
Before you can renew the rego, you also need a greenslip (third party personal injury insurance) which is anywhere from $30
Cheers,

Mick

$88 for a pink slip in Vic (but can vary upwards if you have LPG fitted), but then OK until you sell the car again.

Cheers
