Hey guys its mee again ,, decided im leaving the 327 in , but really want do something different , im cosidering twin garrets T04s but unsure if its gonna cope ,, or a huffer , any other ideas or imput would be greatly appreciated , what would work best ??? and still be streetable .. Thanks again

i definately think you should go with the "Twin garrets t04s"", HQ!!! truble is, i dont know what a twin garret t04 is,, but it does sound incredibly exotic! and being twin, bound to have twice the whatever it is the t04s do,, DOH!!

Hey bud,,,, a couple of turbos 1 for each bank of cylinders ??? so a twin turbo set up on the 327 if it will cope !!?? and Im not too sure it will .. but i guess if you never try youll never know and bugger it i might just give it a go ....

Ha HUH,!! hq, that should make it move fasterer? twin turbo,s?? if they have turbo,s on 4 cyclinder engines, why would a 327 not handle the turbo,s? are they not strong engines?? just wondering cheers

BC ..... its just an old motor and when a twin its almost like running a turbo on a 4 cyl ,, just two of them ( 8 cyl 2 turbos ) the 327 is a very strong motor but its on its last bore ( 60 thou over ) ... but i suppose I could always make it go out with

Why blow up a good 327? Like all engines that are turboed you need to de-compress them when I looked at doing this to a 400 SBC they said it needed to be de-compressed to around 7.5-1 with (I think) 9lbs of boost. But Im still keen on a good old fashioned |

If its power you want then a 350 LS1 or above they have at least 100hp above any old type 350 chev. If its the looks or the braging rights then turbos could be the go. From what I have in my car which is a 350 with the HIGHER COMPRESSION HEADS off a 327 p |

Current use of world oil is 86million barrels a day. we no nothing but cheap oil in our lives but now we will be faced with expensive scarse oil.

Ok think I have found the bloke too do the body its gonna be some where around the 6k mark preped for paint ( im not LMAO ) Now have decided that i may just make the 327 a nice streetable motor ,, any ideas on good internals for a 327 eg pistons , rods , Edited by user Saturday, 5 January 2008 5:48:53 AM(UTC)
