when i send the van in too have the body work don e should I remove the plates for safe keeping ???? will it devalue the van if I do the reattach them after

i dont care what anyone says on this topic re values and rebirthing...yes remove the plates...pm me and i can tell you how to do it so you can replace them with out anybody figuring it out...also take pictures of plates on and after plates are removed....

i would say yes , if you did it in a way that does no damage the car Yeh man , but if you damage the tags in the process, No sad

Classic how do ai do that bud i dont want too devalue the car . but not overly comfortable sending the van too some 1 i dont know and running the risk of the plates going missing

I wouldnt remove them I think the rivets are different from the ones you buy

They sure are they almost have a plasticy sort of cover on em , well thats what it looks like

yes the rivets are different...like i said you can pm me or just call me on 0414 482846 and i can explain how to do it and put them back on with your original rivets....took me a while to work out so im not going to broadcast it here...as for sending a co

yes take em off i have heard off many storys of cars coming back from panel shops minus the tags, either stolen or taken of to paint under and lost...
