If the rims are in good initial shape, then $350 for 4 is a bargain. IF THEY ARE IN REAL GOOD SHAPE. If you want correct ones, make sure they are the JK for early HQ and JJ for later HQ.

Nah bud a flat silver outer with the black on the spokes ,, no dents or dings .. so for 350 its a good price

i had 3.i think early HQ, they were pop revited together and not welded together. they were loose. i just paid $350 for 5. in really good nick still with original paint. its faided tho. off a 6 month 75 HJ all matching. the local wreckers i picked up 4 wi

TRUBLUHQ,
First time i was aware that the GTS rims came chromed, i thought all were silver painted until yesterday.
Yesterday i got a set of GTS rims and after looking at them i noticed they were chromed instead of silver i take it these were factor

Sorry mate. I wasnt clear enough. HQ GTS rims can have square shouldered chrome dress rims on them, as an option. They are removable, The original chrome dress trims ones once put one, should they ever removed (or stolen) used to leave larg

Check that the wheel stud holes are not flogged out. I sent a bundle of rims to be rerolled and they sent back a lot of them that they would not do as the holes were to enlarged.

i found the biggest killer for gts rims is doing them up with a rattle gun. i got new tyres for my rims just after i got them painted. when i was cleaning my car i noticed a slight burr around the edge of the hole where the wheel nuts sit. so now i get wh

you can still get them cheap individually if your quick at swapmeets, one of the last swaps a mate picked up a tidy rim with cap and tyre for $20.

Have a look at pics to know what they look like from the net and print it out and take it with you when you look to buy if you are unsure what they look like in the flesh. No other rim looks the same , these are 14x6 as standard for Holdens, early ones we

Hi Isy,
Here are some tips.
If the GTS rim has a tyre on it, just feel/look on the axle side of the rim for 3-4 beaded welds between the hub and the rim. If beaded its late series, if no beads, early series.

ive had a set for sale on ebay for about 6 days now
4 wheels with caps and tyres
2 near new and 2 good steelbelted radials, balanced and unused since fitting
sand blasted and ( a bit roughly ) painted
$395 starting price
