hi,
does anyone know from which year and model did holden customer service start archiving the vin number and vehicle records of each car they sold.... I just bought a 8/71 HQ GTS and tried to validate the vin. Holden said they don't hold records back that far. i thought they kept them from HQ on but I guess I was wrong...

If you want your VIN, Body No, Model No, Paint, driveline codes etc decoded post it here. There are people on this forum that know more about Holdens than Holden themselves.

I have a 4/73 HQ which Holden still have on their records.....in fact I was able to get an updated verification letter with engine number recently.

HI CAN SOME ONE PLEASE HELP ME TO DECODE MY HOLDEN VIN # W0L0JBF19YL502242. i HAVE TRIED DIFFERENT PLACES ON INTERNET BUT IT SEEMS ALL DECODES ON INTERNET ARE ONLY MEANT FOR US,EURO OR JAPS CARS.

Hi VINO. W0L0JBF19YL502242 is a JS Vectra sedan built between 1/9/99 & 30/8/00. AFAIK all Opel Holdens start their VIN with W0L0..... Dr Terry Edited by user Thursday, 1 January 2009 1:18:16 AM(UTC)

how did the torana boys get there,s what did they do with the left overs?
