howdy,
I have a 85 vk 6 cyl auto and have recently put extractors on it.
Since then the car has been having problems when it idles. Drives fine until i need to stop at a light etc. Its also fine in first but when it changes into 2nd or from 2nd it misses and nearly dies. Im not sure but i think it may have something to do with the old manifold having the vacuum on it.
If any1 can help it would be very appreciated.
Thanks

Hey thanks for the reply,
Our intake manifold is bolted onto the extractors to where the egr would normally go. The only thing that is left over is where to put the hose that would normally join up to the egr.
If you have any other thoughts would you pl

Ahhh, OK, so you got the type with the riser tubes (otherwise you have to source blanking plates).

Does it only do it when cold, or all the time?

I know from experience when I fitted them to a blue 6 (many moons ago!) that it would take longer for i

Yeah was a tad confused-but the egr is connected to the manifold still and has the hose running to the brown tap thing that screws onto the head, I've blocked the hose off that goes to the efe, The car runs pretty bad when cold but still tries to sta
