Hi all,
I have a 14x8 Chevoit 'hotwire' mag that I think is from a HQ-WB Holden but I'm not 100% sure. Just wondering is the PCD the distance between centres of the opposing holes in the 5 stud pattern? If so what was the PCD for all Holden stud patterns so I can confirm what I have? Would you have the Ford PCD also, just in case I have slipped up and have a Ford part in my shed!!
I want to sell the wheel but want to be sure of what it suits!!
Thanks
Peter

PCD means Pitch Circle Diameter and is measured from the centre of one hole to the centre of the oposite hole. on a 5 stud paturn you should measure from the centre of one of the stud holes to the centre of your mag the multiply by 2, to give our PCD. if |

There are no "opposing holes in a 5 stud pattern. Only in 4 and 6 stud. You need to draw a circle through the centre of the holes and measure its diameter. Most Chevoit hotwires should have 4.25, 4.5 or 4.75 stamped on the inner face of the wheel where it |

Ive been asked a question on Ebay, is the wheel a 5 x 108, would that mean 5 stud and 108mm between the two wheel studs as shown in the diagram in JBMs reply?
Thanks
Peter

Thanks guys, looks like the guy asking the question wants to know if it's an early Holden/Torana wheel, and it isn't. Thanks again!
