I've got a LJ Torana and i want to put the 5Litre i just bought in to it just want some pointers from some one that has done it like: what modifications do i need to do under the bonnet like do i need to cut any of the fire wall away, engine mounts and what strengthening kits are good, what brakes ect. Pretty much every thing

Have a look at gmh-torana.com site and do a search, a few have done this conversion. Search for a user named rorym, he built a replica of the V8 XU1 built by Harry Firth.

cheers mate...everytin seems to be going to plan now....aparently im spose o get the sump, oil pickcup , dip stick and egine mounts from an old style 308 and they should bolt streight on and in theary i should be able to drop the donk straight in...and i
