Rank: Member Reputation: Groups: Registered Joined: 26/09/2007(UTC) Posts: 51		A friend just bought a VH commodore SS at least he was told it was an SS.... can someone help identify it for me model is VH8VK69 motor is L36 currently a V8 253 M40 trans and GU4 diff what else do I need to look at that would help identify it cheers Alan Drive carefully! I can tell you now, that car on ebay is not an SS. This one your mate has bought isn't one either - as it has an auto trans (M40) whereas all genuine SS had manuals (M21).
