I have now decided to put in the efi 202 motor and 4 speed box into the wagon. now thinking about how its going to handle and if i will need to upgrade the diff, clutch, brakes and suspension etc.

what would be the best way to do the conversion from disc front drum rear the 4 spot front 2 spot rear brakes will it need this sort of braking power or is that excessive?

does lowering the car improve the handling i.e putting tougher springs and shocks in make it corner better what sort of sway bar do i want to fit? is rack and pinion steering hard to fit does it come standard with it will this give any advantage?

what are the advantages of an lsd? can i get one that will bolt straight up?

will the standard clutch from the red die if i put it in there? will that need replacing also? what sort should i look for?

The latest Street Machine has a Rack & Pinion conversion write up. (HQ to HZ) A Place in Perth does it. About $2500.00 from memory.

Just get a standard HG 3-speed clutch setup including bellhousing. It will all work fine with the 202 and 4-speed, and will use the same speedo cable and rear crossmember as well. But you do have to hack the floor a bit to make the 4-speed fit as the shif

Rack and pinion: http://www.fastlane.com....14294&SearchTerms=volvo

I can deliver to Ballarat in 3 weeks time.

You would also have to work out all of the ins and outs of doing the conversion.

Yes but he is trying to make a HG handle better not a HQ

A good way for state governments to raise revenue would be for them to direct the police to b

ok decided to put hq-wb rear end on can i just change the diff from the hg to the newer one or is there major work involved and is it worth changing the front to the same hq-wb disc brakes?. how hard is it to find an lsd with that stud pattern and brakes?

No. The centre in a HQ-HZ banjo is the same as a HG anyway, just the axles and the housing are different due to the width and the different mounting.
