hey guys
Got a 77 ltd with weiand single plane and a 750 mighty demon, holley carb mounted accel bracket and return spring but i having a few issues sourcing a decent accel cable. I have tried the original genuine cable and a speco one with no real sucess....
at the moment it pulls back towards the firewall which requires an s-bend in the cable and it wont achieve full travel without binding.I have tried running it pulling towards the radiator but cant get the leverage to pull it completely open...

You need to make up an appropriate accel cable bracket and mount off one of the manifold bolts. Factory they pull toward the radiator. Which is why the cables so long. Once you've got the bracket right you'll be able to use the nut on the cable to get it
