Was thanked: 2 time(s) in 2 post(s)

I have offered to swap a transmission in a friend of a friends VL Commodore.

The current transmission works well but has no reverse. Now before I go pulling it out is the lack of reverse a simple fix?

On a Ford auto if it loses reverse it's usually a simple broken finger between a servo and a band.

Thanks, Jim...

Some people say I am out of shape but they are wrong.....Round is a shape.

It'll have the Jap 4 speed auto (same as the Nissan Skyline), so I bet it isn't a simple fix but then I have no knowledge of these transmissions, I find a trimatic hard enough!! :)
